MAY 200831st May and 1st June Firepower, The Royal Artillery Museum, Woolwich, London Plans are now in operation to organise another wonderful Sharpe weekend, courtesy of Firepower, The Royal Artillery Museum, Woolwich, London. We hope to have cast and crew members there over the two days, with hopefully some Q & A sessions with them. We will be showing a Sharpe film in the Firepower cinema and re enactors will be with us as well. Further details of whats in store will updated over the coming weeks. We can now confirm that the following cast and crew members will be attending The Sharpe Weekend at Firepower. Saturday - Adele James will be in attendance signing copies of Sharpe Chefs Sunday - Hugh Fraser, Lyndon Davies, Muir Sutherland and Tom Clegg Sat and Sunday - Jason Salkey both days. It is hoped that more names will be added as we get closer to the event. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS AN ADMISSION CHARGE BY FIREPOWER - HOWEVER THERE IS A SMALL REDUCTION FOR SAS MEMBERS, BUT PLEASE TAKE YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD OR IF NOT, HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP NO. READY TO GIVE IN. JULY 200819th/20th July Festival of History, Kelmarsh Hall, Nr Kettering, Northants This event has now changed from August back to July for some reason. This is a truly spectacular event and the roadshow will be there all weekend. For further details visit this website or the English Heritage website. AUGUST 200823rd and 24th August Military Odyssey 3 day event in Detling, Kent Now that the Festival of History has moved back to July we are hoping to go down to Military Odyssey 3 day event in Detling, Kent for the August Bank Holiday which is 23/24/25th August. PLEASE NOTE: The SAS roadshow will only be there on Sat 23rd and Sunday 24th August! SEPTEMBER 2008STILL TO BE CONFIRMED! Lots of things Regency happening here, with re-eneactors present, living history, a Regency wedding with music and dance, and the Thomas Hardy Society should be involved as well!
